It's a new week! I'm sure you've set out already to take vital steps towards your dream. Here's some dose of wisdom you might want to digest. Today we'll be talking about mentorship. I do understand that there are so many school of thoughts as regards this topic but I'll be shedding some light on the relevant aspect. Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. Your mentor may be older or younger than you, but bear this in mind that they must have a certain area of expertise. It is a learning and development partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn. This is needed because interaction with an expert may also be necessary to gain proficiency in certain areas of life. Identifying strong mentors in your field is a good way to set yourself up for significant career transitions. This also applies to your spiritual growth.  Men...

Here's one of my poems to inspire us to tame our tongues As  mighty and fierce as the horses could be It is controlled with a bit and griddle As great as the sailing ships could be Driven by fierce and uncontrollable winds It is turned about with a small helm Yet, as tiny as the human tongue could be There has been no master yet No, not yet in history That could tame and control the tongue A little member of the body But it speaketh great things It is known for its prophecies How well it kindles fire It has trodden the mighty to the ground And yet has it lifted many It acts as a pen and an eraser It is full of evil and yet could speak of great and marvellous things It curses men and blesses men too This ought not to be Howbeit when it is made subject under the Spirit of God It becomes a great tool and a blessing for many generations . One major challenge faced by christians today is the difficulty of standing out. We find it hard to make firm decisions on the priorities and principles which govern our lives.

Obedience is the act of following commands, guidance and instructions. It is complying to a set of rules. Many Christian's now see obedience as old school.

I may have the gift of inspired preaching; i may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; i may have all the faith needed to move mountains-BUT IF I HAVE NO LOVE I AM NOTHING I may be able to speak the languages of human being and even of angels, BUT IF I HAVE NO LOVE, I AM NOTHING.....my speech is no more than a noisy gong or clanging bell I may give away everything i have, and even give up my body to be burnt- BUT IF I HAVE NO LOVE,I AM NOTHING There are inspired messages but they are temporary; There are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but it will pass. LOVE IS ETERNAL When i was a child,my speech,feelings and thinking were all those of a child;now that i have grown up, i have no use for childish ways... The bible is the book that contains the word of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers. It's doctrines are holy; its precepts are binding; its histories are true; its decisions immutable. Read it to be wise, behave it to be safe , and practise it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, comfort to cheer you. Its the travelers map, the pilgrims staff, the pilots compass, the soldiers sword, and the Christians charter. Here, heaven is opened and the gates of hell closed. Christ is its grand subject, our good urs design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill your memory, rule your heart and guide your feet in righteousness and true holiness. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully, meditatively, searchingly, devotionally, and study it constantly, preservingly and industriously. Brokeness is the state of being contrite. Its something that God cannot ignore. In my walk with God, I've realised that there's a particular stage you'll get to, whereby you'll feel so weak to press on in faith; the desire is there but there's no more strength. Its at this stage that you realise that " by strength shall no man prevail"

This has cost so.many believers their place on God. How do you rate God when it comes to importance and priorities? Its easy to say He's number one in your life but is that really the position He's occupying right now?? Many of us started our christian walk so well, placing everything in the right order. But right now, we can barely put everything under control as usual. Like majority of us would say, I don't have time! I have a lot to do! I just cant help it! I have a flight to catch up with! I am too tired and stressed up! I have tests and exams to write! I have a conference to attend...bla bla bla . When there's no more time to study the Bible as usual, when there's no more time to pray n commune with the spirit, when there's no more time to seek His counsel before taking a major step in your business or career, when the usual schedule for quiet time and intimacy with His Spirit has been swallowed up with so many activities; *that's when things have...

Gud day everyone. Trust your day has been glorious. Here's what I've got for everyone. CONVERSATION BETWEEN A BUSINESS MANAGER AND A MARKETER Marketer: sir it's necessary for u to sign these documents (displays some documents on the table). Manager: oh really? (Goes through the documents) ....but some of the terms here are not ethical. Some figures has been changed ND am not aware of such changes Marketer: come on sir! Don't be hard on us. It's just business Manager: but its not ethical! Remember am a christian Marketer: of course its ethical. It's just 'business' ethical instead of ethical ethical Manager:.....sighs... alright ( signs the document) here u are Marketer: thank u sir. Nice doing business with u ( gives a deceptive grin) Hmmmm...... *Compromise* That's how we give up our beliefs and change our standards. The devil is not usually frontal, he's tricky. One's philosophy is not best expressed in words,its expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die and the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility. Dr. CREFLOA DOLLAR

One of the surest ways to fall is to allow pride to rule your life.Nebuchadnezzar was king of the powerful babylonian empire.He had seen the mighty power of God on many occasions yet his heart remained proud.Archaelogical excavations reveal that Nebuchadnezzar's babylon was truly incredible.King saul fell because of pride and arrogance, puffed up by pride and blinded by jealousy, Saul on numerous occasions disobeyed the Lord.This resulted in his eventual judgement and destruction.There are countless illustrations throughout history of skeptics, atheists, dictators, rock stars, athletes, and many others who became proud and brazenly boasted and bragged in the flesh-for a while.Eventually, their tongues were silenced.The historical records are strewn with the tragedies of these people.Remember the Bible says that the world and its desires will pass away.........and we have been called to be faithful not successful.Be Careful! ! !
