MENTORS ARE LADDERS

It's a new week! I'm sure you've set out already to take vital steps towards your dream. Here's some dose of wisdom you might want to digest.

Today we'll be talking about mentorship. I do understand that there are so many school of thoughts as regards this topic but I'll be shedding some light on the relevant aspect.

Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. Your mentor may be older or younger than you, but bear this in mind that they must have a certain area of expertise. It is a learning and development partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn.

This is needed because interaction with an expert may also be necessary to gain proficiency in certain areas of life.

Identifying strong mentors in your field is a good way to set yourself up for significant career transitions. This also applies to your spiritual growth. 

Mentors are there to counsel you, share vital experiences that you could learn from and also cheer you up and support you as you take giant steps to the fulfillment of your dream.

 No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.”
