Smile! Even in the storm.

Look at the picture below: the smile is contagious isn't it? One would feel I obviously do not have any challenge at the moment.....

All humans are born with the ability to smile, yet as we age, we smile less often.
This is because we allow the obstacles we face to overwhelm us.

According to research, smiling reduces stress and increases endurance.

Smiling can boost your mood when you're feeling bad, and may be beneficial for people struggling with anxiety and depression. ...

We think of our face as reflecting our internal emotions, but that linkage works both ways - we can change our emotional state by altering our facial expression!

Bishop T D Jakes explained in one of his teachings that those with hope tend to recover faster from disappointments than those who are broken and faithless.
The scripture teaches that “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (proverbs 17:22).

As we advance to different phases of life, it's important that we get our balance and not become strangled with the difficulties that comes with each phase.

Regardless of the trials, keep up.

The minute you think of giving up, ponder on the reason for holding on in the first place.
The struggle is real but His grace is enough to keep us going....

SMILE EVEN IN THE STORM AND CAST YOUR CARES UPON GOD!

Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace!
With love from your friend, Maggy.
