CONFORMING TO THE WAYS OF THE KINGDOM 1

Hey dear, it's been a while since I wrote to you... I've got a question for you: How well have you been representing Christ? As you answer, do well to dive into this delicacy well prepared for you ... 



In every kingdom, there are principles, belief systems, and cultures.
Being born again connotes that our citizenship is changed to the kingdom of God. Hence, the need to understand the ways of God and be conformed to His image.
The believers at Antioch were named Christians because of their level of conformity. They looked and acted like Christ.

Many of us have tagged spiritual growth to just the understanding of greek and hebrew words, and speaking mysteries.
Your spiritual growth is tested based on the level of your conformity to the ways of God... not just understanding of deep revelation and mysteries.

The journey of our Christian walk starts with us accepting the finished work of Christ and next, is us subjecting to the Holy Spirit. Only then can you GROW, and INFLUENCE lives.

There should be a difference between how you talk, dress, act ,etc and the character of an unbeliever.


Even when you're not given a microphone to preach, your character should be able to change lives in your community!

BE A WALKING BIBLE!
Do not just covet the gifts of the Spirit... allow Him to work on you so the fruit can be evident! Galatians 5:22-23

The reason why some believers seemingly do not bear the fruit of the Spirit, is because they do not allow Him to work in them. When he gains control of your actions and reactions to life and its activities, those fruits become evident in your life. It's His presence within and your subjection to Him, that births the fruit of the Spirit. Simply put, a mango tree will only bear mango as fruits. It's funny how we live our lives guided and directed by the desires and promptings of the flesh and yet expect to see the fruit of the spirit evident in our life styles.  Your prayer each day should be: LORD HELP ME TO SUBMIT TO YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. When you get to a state where you're so satisfied with misrepresenting Christ, then you need a retreat as soon as possible.
