PRINCIPLES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Hey readers, happy new week to us. Do schedule some time to digest this. There are so many keys that can help us to grow to maturity. I'll be listing a few of them:

1. The first step to Christianity is an encounter with the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, beyond the fashions of religion; an encounter that brings transformation. You need to know God for yourself and have a personal relationship with Him. This is far beyond going to church or attending programs.

2. The proof that you're walking with God is that your life is conformed to His principles daily. It's not solely about understanding greek and hebrew words. There has to be evident changes in your life as you begin to learn the cultures of this kingdom.

3. The level of your alignment with the  Holy Spirit determines the extent to which our lives will be transformed. The scripture clearly explains that the flesh will always war against the spirit. So one has to be subdued for the other to prevail. You will need to sacrifice your time, sleep, food, pleasure etc. Alignment comes first before transformation. As you climb the hill of God, there will be no room for extra luggage- you'll have to make sacrifices.
As we grow and mature in our Christian walk, God will begin to have personalised dealings with us which are non negotiable.

4. The spirit filled life is a step by step journey. Consistency is a key that we must learn and master. Trials and challenges will come, but the grace of God is available so your faith won't waver.

5. A child must be fed properly in order to ensure effective growth. Funny how many of us starve our spirit man and expect to fulfill the purposes of God.
In order to grow, we must listen to messages, study books, commune with people of like passion, study the Bible and have deep immersions.

Sustain a deep level of intimacy with the Holy Spirit and that will help you to not miss your way as you strive on this earth.
It is possible for us to carry the very presence of God like an aroma (the mystery of godliness).

Hebrews 5:13-14
AMP: For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!

But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.

There's grace to grow! Ensure you're growing spiritually.
Have a blessed week.
