POWER OF VISION

Ever wondered why almost every motivational speaker and influential people talk about vision?

Well, it's because that's what will keep you going and focused in this world that's so filled with lot of distractions.

Simply put, vision is having clarity towards your life's purpose.

Vision is a mental picture of the future. It is an idea of what the future can hold, but has not yet happened.

Vision embodies our hopes and ideals. It gives us a sense of purpose. Visions brings us flashes or glimpses of what is possible.

Having a vision about one’s life purpose is one of the most powerful things we can have.A vision gives us four critical things that can make all the difference in our lives and the lives of others:

1. It gives you focus: In this generation where so many are pressured into living fake lives and imitating others, vision is the factor that will help you to be yourself and stay focused.

You wouldn't find me in a fashion house learning how to design clothes because my plans and purpose do not in any way involve such.

It gives us the drive and energy to do everything it takes to achieve it. We live and dream about reaching our goal, and everything becomes part of the journey.

2. It motivates you: you'll often hear great people say that failure is part of the success equation.. but note that after several failures, what keeps you going is a clear picture of where you're headed.

If Thomas Edison wasn't vision minded, he wouldn't have tried the patent for light bulb 10000 times.

I have often failed at some things but it never made me stop trying! 

3. Having a vision helps you to set your priorities right and defines your values: in a way, being vision minded helps to trim out worthless friends and habits.

It is very easy to spot someone who has a direction he's headed to. It'll show in his association, daily living, habits and his way of life. The sooner you know where you are headed, the earlier you get there.

4. It shows you the way and sets you in motion : it is not enough to know the right way to ply. Beyond that, you must be readily available for the journey . Vision could literally be likened to the gearbox of a car. It sets the car in motion at different levels; it tells you when to slow down and when to increase the speed. However, it is always wise to get it right in time.

Conclusively , There is a popular saying that “If you don’t know where you are going , every way will seem like the right way .You will only fulfil what you have seen and known . 

There will always be a path that seems right but your vision will help you know if it’s worth plying.
