STRIKING THE BALANCE BTW THE GOSPEL OF GRACE AND THE GOSPEL OF HOLINESS

Nobody, no matter how anointed equals the complete revelation of the church. Many pastors have made themselves ultimate custodians of the final revelations of God which has caused division and preconceived biases in the church.

Grace signifies favour of God and the * ability of God in u to perform *. If u ask any Christian today to give a brief explanation of the saving grace of God in our lives, he or she would mention the favour part. Most believers don't understand that there is a part for us to play when it comes to the manifestation of grace. This is because the grace message has been misinterpreted and has produced sets of carnal , lazy and irresponsible Christians. Grace is the ability of God in you to perform meaning * you will do the work but He will enable u*. When our first priority is pleasing God in all things and doing His will,  the Holy Spirit makes us able to bear the fruit of righteousness and holiness abundantly.


However, an over emphasis has been made concerning the gospel of holiness. Holiness is not setting up rules without relationship. When we emphasize standards more than the saviour, and laws more than the love of Christ, that's legalism. The result of such is external conformity rather than the inward transformation. God deals with us from the inside out. You need to have a personal relationship with the Holy spirit. The Spirit if God gives us constraints which in turn helps us to live holy lives.

So then my brothers and sisters follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.
