FAITH BOOSTERS

There are several faith boosters . ..and we'll be looking at a few of them. I trust God to open your eyes of understanding !


1) Patience: you must add patience to your faith until the word you received from God has manifested. This is where many of us believers get cheated..we are always in a hurry forgetting that the ways of God is so different from ours. Satan has seen the vulnerability of men, he'll use the sensory realm against you in order to change your conviction.
Patience is the quality of staying through.
 The waiting process is the test of spiritual maturity. Abraham waited for the promise. You also have to wait. It takes time for the word of God to produce. It's just like a pregnant woman, she endures till the ninth month.
Let's do a little analysis on the movie- *the lord of the rings*. Majority of us are so conversant with this movie. Frodo had to bear the ring despite the difficulties and challenges he faced. There were times he had to walk alone.

Faith is no cheap talk, only hard workers can walk their way into that realm- those who will settle down with tapes and CDs and those who are ready to learn. They are those who will tap into dimensions of God through revelation upon revelation and move forward in life. BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

[2) Tapping into the power of agreement: I already wrote anaarticle concerning this..but I'll throw some light on this  . There is a spiritual force in the realm of the spirit that is released when someone believes with you that your desire can be made manifest. Its hard to find someone with similar convictions with you. The mistake Joseph made was that he shared his dream with people who never agreed with him. If the closest people in your life do not agree with you then you are in trouble. You need to create a kingdom community of like minded people. It helps you to sustain your values and keep you from falling.
Back to our analysis from the movie- *lord of the rings*. A time came when frodo could not bear the ring alone. He was weary, but he had a friend. One who sticked closer than a brother. His name is Sam. Sam said something during their struggle up the mountain. He said, though I may not be able to bear the ring like you do but I can carry you up the mountain. At this point, it was Sam who carried frodo till they got to their destination.

You need such person in your life. They are called your confidants. If you are able to identify up to three in your life, believe me, you are extremely blessed.

(3) The power of praying in the spirit: the cure for weakness is engaging in the spirit. You receive boldness and capacity to receive from God when you pray in the spirit. Make it a culture.


(4) The power of praise and Thanksgiving: these are keys that control the manifestations of your expectations. " *with joy shall you draw from the wells of salvation"*. Thanksgiving is an indication of faith. Your joy shouldn't be tied to circumstances, its an activity of the spirit.
