Why many do not pray!!

The body of Christ is filled with so many prayerless Christians, people who prefer to blame God and the devil for the prevalent difficulties in their lives and families.
Today we will look into three points as regards the reason why many do not pray:
1. *Laziness* : I don't really have much to say on this. We have been warned and taught severally concerning the dangers and repercussions of being lazy. Many believers prefer their pastors praying for them because they are spiritually lazy. Here's an excerpt from the _book of proverbs:
_Awake ye sluggard, when will ye ever get up
I'll just take a short nap; I'll fold my hands
And I'll rest a while
but while he slumbers, poverty comes around and attacks like a robber.
Awake o' sluggard_
Stop looking for prayer warriors who will help you carry your burdens. Grow!
2. Procrastination: this is a challenge faced by everyone but many have mastered the art of maximizing their time while others have given in to procrastination. Its necessary to jump out of the pit of procrastination because a year from now, you would be wishing you had started building your prayer life from now.
3. Discouragement: it takes perseverance to _stay_ in the place of prayer. Don't check the natural for witness of what is going on in the spirit.

Many of us have given up our habit of prayer because we think nothing is happening. It is essential for us to pray with faith because we live by faith n not by sight. 2Cor5:7
